To give fans an exclusive sneak peak of The Cat Empire‘s latest album, we were asked to build a simple sign-up system where visitors could enter their details and be taken to a streaming audio player where the album could be listened to before it’s release. Pretty cool for die hard fans who can’t wait!

To get access to the audio player, a visitor would have to enter their name, email address and mobile phone number and select whether they wanted to join an email list. They would then be sent a confirmation email with a link to verify their email address. After this they could log in to a mini member area and listen to the new album.

The tracks were only available for listening to online and could not be downloaded, either from the site or from temporary files often stored on the visitors hard drive.
