I started building websites in the early 2000s. I've watched trends and platforms come and go, and a lot of businesses waste serious money chasing the wrong things because they got advice from people who were selling, not advising.
What I've learned: most growing businesses don't need more complexity. They need someone who can see past the hype, tell them what actually matters, and execute it properly.
That's what I do. No jargon or upsells, and no getting passed to someone you'll never speak to. One person who knows your business and cares about the result.

Questions I get asked a lot
You could. And some businesses are fine with that, at least initially. Sometimes I will happily recommend and use them if it's the right option. But most of my clients come to me after spending months (and more money than they expected) wrestling with templates that don't quite do what they need. A custom-built site gives you control, flexibility, and a design that actually reflects your business. Most clients are surprised by how accessible the investment is once they compare it to what they've spent on DIY.
You could. And for simple, low-stakes projects, it might get you a lot of the way there. But AI generated sites tend to look like each other, because they're trained on the same pool of "good design". There's also no real strategy behind the structure, the copy, or how it converts. And that's before you've dealt with hosting, domains, and getting it live. Getting a site to actually work for your business involves a lot more than generating something that looks decent on screen.
A logo or brand identity is typically 1-2 weeks. A full website is usually 3-6 weeks depending on scope and how quickly you can provide content. I'll give you a realistic timeline upfront, and I stick to it. Most projects go live in 4-8 weeks. Often the biggest variable is delays in getting the content together. I can help you with that if needed, just let me know.
Not at all. I'm Sydney-based but most of my clients are elsewhere, across Australia and internationally. Everything works over video call, email, and shared tools. Some of my longest client relationships are with people I've never met in person.
Absolutely. Some clients just need a logo. Some need a full rebrand, new website, and marketing setup. We start wherever makes sense. There's no pressure to expand the scope, though most clients end up working with me across more than one area once they see how it fits together.
Honest answer: it depends. If you're pre-revenue and testing whether your idea works, a simple DIY setup might be the right call for now. But if you're already getting clients and your digital presence is holding you back, or if you want to start strong and not redo everything in 12 months, then yes, let's talk.
